Josh has been fishing BC’s beautiful coastal waters since he was 12 years old. Over the years, his investment in the commercial fishing industry has grown into a diversified fleet of sustainable fisheries. February each year, the Pacific herring spawn in the Strait of Georgia. During this time, you will find Josh and his Pender Harbour crew taking to their skiffs to gillnet herring.  As spring approaches and  the crew of Young Gun Fishing wait to fish the waters surrounding scenic Pender Harbour hauling up BC spot prawns, the fishing vessel Shirley Evelyn will sneak out for a quick long line trip to bring the freshest Pacific halibut to the people of Pender Harbour and Sunshine Coast. But the real beauty is trolling the summer months in and around Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii for spectacular Pink, Coho and Chinook salmon.  The days are long, but the romance becomes strong.
